Famous YouTuber ‘BitBoy’ threatens to reveal Shy Kusama’s true identity.
Accusations of Shibarium’s plagiarism fall flat as Rinia developer comes through.
Shiba Inu developer team refuted the allegations but issued an apology to Rinia.
In response to the recent drama surrounding Shibarium’s code, the popular crypto YouTuber Ben Armstrong declared to his Twitter audience that he would reveal Shytoshi Kusama’s true identity in the near future. “Wait until I dox the founder of $SHIB, it’s coming this week. Heck maybe tmrw,” – says the YouTuber with over one million followers.
Shortly after the message, the Rinia developer publicly refuted the claims that the Shibarium code was copied, but MrDonGG was still largely offended. Apparently, Shibarium developers put in the same Chain ID 917. So far, it’s unknown if that was done deliberately or mistakenly, but SHIB developer Kaal Dhaiya promised to “redeploy Puppynet with a new chain ID in the coming days.”
Shy Kusama Wants His T-Shirt Back
The lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB) didn’t take long to respond to BitBoy’s dox threat. In particular, Shytoshi Kusama asked Ben ‘BitBoy’ Armstrong to bring receipts for the Shiba-themed t-shirts the famed YouTuber uses in his videos. “Make sure you bring receipts, okay,” – sarcastically utters Shy Kusama.
Shortly after, Ben Armstrong replied to Kusama, making fun of his popularity on Twitter. “575 likes and 2 comments lmao yea this guy is legit”, said the superstar YouTuber. Ironically, Shy Kusama’s response tweet received twice as many likes as Brian Armstrong, and getting 620 retweets compared to BitBoy’s 111.
While Brian Armstong didn’t expect to lose momentum in the crypto world and become less popular than Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous lead dev, Kusama mockingly asked BitBoy to return the Shiba Inu t-shirt used in the videos. The crypto YouTuber might have difficulty sending the apparel back to his alleged acquaintance, as the return address posted by the main dev Kusama looks rather unusual.

On The Flipside
Ben Armstrong previously falsely stated that Samuel Bankman-Fried, the corrupt founder of the FTX crypto exchange, is one of the early Shiba Inu developers.
A large chunk of the crypto community doesn’t believe that the YouTuber has any valuable info on Shy, seeing BitBoy’s claims simply as a publicity stunt.
